Chapter 15: Daisy's Concealment

"Alright then, your hand is fine, which is a good thing." Axel said, his tone tinged with remorse and gratitude for Daisy's brave act of stepping in to protect him. Axel wanted to express his thanks to Daisy, but he was not accustomed to speaking such words. Therefore, he felt a bit awkward and unfamiliar. Nonetheless, Axel considered the fact that Daisy had helped him, and in turn, he had helped Daisy. It was seen as a fair exchange. He made this decision on his own without discussing it with Daisy.

"Overall, everything is fine," Daisy remarked. "Let's go home."

"You're right," Axel agreed. "Let's go."

With that, Axel decisively turned and walked away.

"Sure, goodbye," Daisy said, smiling and echoing his words.
