The days went by in a blur with Drago not saying a word, if he knew about Helena's disappearance, he didn't say a word about it, and although I knew that I wasn't supposed to feel unsettled, I just couldn't.

I had a lot on my plate, from Daphne telling me she wasn't ready for marriage yet, to coping with Jack's disappearance. It was something that I had finally agreed upon that I had to live with.

There had been no report about his whereabouts, I wasn't going to lie, a part of me was excited because there was a prospect that he wasn't dead yet while the other part of me was worried about what exactly might have happened.

As a last demand, I had changed my team, from my driver to anyone who would guide my family leaving just Tessa behind. She was going to stay by Daphne, and they had been coming along recently just fine.

I tried to push away the slush of doubt that had settled in the pit of my stomach, but it was there, so stubborn that I just had to do it. Placing
