I watched them as they got out of the car. I’d been waiting six damn hours for her to get home. I was furious to see him with her, but I knew that’s where she’d be. I was even more enraged when I saw him getting out of the car with her. They walked to the door together, and she looked around. Maybe trying to see if her parents were pulling in.
