34: Believer of Soul Mates

It was two in the morning by the time we left. I was tired. Kaileeh actually fell asleep on the ride home. When I pulled into the driveway, I shook her and woke her up. I then noticed that Elise’s Charger was parked. Oh great. I’m definitely looking forward to this week at the cabin.

           We made it inside the house, and all the lights were off. I whispered a goodnight to Kaileeh as I trudged up the stairs to my room in the dark. I opened my door and closed it before flipping the switch on. I nearly jumped out of my skin. Lying on my bed was Jarren, and Garret was sitting in my computer chair.

“Remind me to start keeping holy water and a lighter handy,” I mumbled. They both chuckled. “Seriously, what would you guys have done if Kaileeh had been with me?”
