Katie's POV

“I’m with the press and I'm here to help you.”

I gave her a once over. It was really all I had to do to see she had her own ulterior motives.

“Look, whatever ulterior motives you have, I don't want to be part of it or help you bring it to life. We both know one thing, as much as you claim you are here to help me, you are also here to help yourself because Frankly, that's what matters to you.” I told her plainly, and kept on walking, taking the route with trees planted by the sidewalk so I was away from the eyes on the street.

It didn't take long before I heard a car slowing down behind me. Soon it caught up with me and it wasn't much of a surprise that she was the one.

“You definitely can't take no for an answer, can you?” I said out loud, not necessarily checking if she was the one.

“I’m sorry. This wouldn't take much of your time, if only you would give me five minutes and in exchange I will take you to wherever it is you are heading to.”
