Alpha Damon

Sunshine pack

Damon come out of his room frustrated, he had been the youngest Alpha that ever ruled sunshine pack. Damon walk into the throne room and sat as everyone bow. He signal them to be at ease. He is not a man of many words.

Damon sat on his throne, his frustration evident on his face as he listened to the elders. They were all speaking at once, discussing the importance of finding a mate and the urgency to secure one for their young Alpha.

"Enough!" Damon's voice boomed, cutting off the chatter in the room. The elders immediately fell silent, their eyes widening as they realized their Alpha's irritation. Damon turned his gaze towards Killian, his most trusted Beta, silently instructing him to take over the conversation.

Killian stepped forward, addressing the elders in a calm yet commanding tone. "My fellow pack members, I understand your concerns. But it is not our place to search for a mate for our Alpha. It is his destiny, his right to choose who he wishes to bond with."

The elders exchanged uneasy glances, unsure of how to respond. Damon's frustration stemmed not only from their constant pestering but also from his own internal struggle with the idea of finding a mate. He had always believed in love and connection, but recently, the pressure on him to find a suitable partner had become overwhelming.

Damon stood up from his throne and walked towards the large windows that overlooked the pack territory. His eyes scanned the vast expanse of land, the people going about their daily activities, and he couldn't help but feel a pang of loneliness deep within.

Taking a deep breath, he turned back to face his pack. "I appreciate your concern, but I cannot rush into a decision as important as choosing a mate. Love cannot be forced, and I will not settle for anything less than a true connection. I have faith that the Moon Goddess will guide me to the right person when the time is right."

His words resonated with some of the elders, who nodded in understanding. Others continued to look skeptical, their worry for their Alpha's future palpable. Damon knew he needed to address their concerns and find a way to alleviate their worries.

"I promise you all that I am actively searching for my mate," Damon continued, his voice filled with determination. "But I will not settle for anyone who does not hold my heart and soul. I want a mate who will stand beside me, support me, and love me for who I am. Until that person reveals themselves to me, I will focus on leading this pack to the best of my abilities."

There was a moment of silence as Damon's words sank in. The elders began to understand the depth of his conviction, recognizing that their Alpha was not simply delaying the process but genuinely seeking a true bond. Their skepticism transformed into a renewed sense of faith in their leader.

One of the elders, a wise and aged she-wolf named Eadlyn, spoke up. "Alpha Damon, we understand your position. Love is not something that can be rushed or forced. We trust in your judgment and will support you in whatever decision you make. We only wish for your happiness and the well-being of our pack."

Damon's gaze softened as he looked at Eadlyn. Her words resonated with him, reinforcing his belief that he was on the right path. "Thank you, Eadlyn," he said with gratitude. "Your words mean a great deal to me. Rest assured, I will continue to lead this pack with honor and integrity, and I will find my mate when the time is right."

The tension in the throne room eased, replaced by a sense of unity and understanding. The elders offered their support and encouragement, and Damon knew he had made the right decision in addressing their concerns. He may still be a young Alpha, but he was wise beyond his years, realizing that true love was worth waiting for.

As the meeting concluded, Damon and Killian walked side by side towards his private quarters. Killian clasped his shoulder, offering a reassuring smile. "You handled that well, Alpha," he said, admiration evident in his voice. "I have no doubt that the Moon Goddess has someone special in store for you."

Damon smiled back, a glimmer of hope shining in his eyes. "Thank you, Killian. Let us have faith that she will lead me to my mate when the time is right. Until then, we focus on our pack and trust in the journey ahead."

And with those words, Damon stepped into his private quarters, feeling the weight of the world on his shoulders but also a renewed sense of purpose. He knew that even though the path to finding his mate may be challenging, he would persevere and remain true to his conviction. For true love was worth fighting for, even if it meant waiting a little longer.

Someone suddenly jumped on him from now when, he sigh. No one did that aside from Delilah his childhood friend.

"Get down from my body Delilah" he said while dropping her gently. Delilah frowned.

"I miss you so much, don't you miss me too?" Delilah pout. Damon sigh and removed her hand from his chest. Maybe he had been giving her the wrong idea and it shouldn't be happening since he is in quest to search for his mate and at the same time she needs to accept hee mate also.

"Your mate?" Damon asked staring directly into her eyes. Delilah hissed.

"I don't like him and I don't want him" Delilah said with a frowned.

"That's why you reject him? Delilah the moon goddess won't be happy with you" Damon said calmly. Delilah frown deepened.

"I want to be your Luna instead, beside you don't have a mate yet, who knows maybe the moon goddess wants us together" Delilah said wrapping her hand around Damon's neck but he snapped her hand away.

"Shut up Delilah!"
