**Alexander’s POV**

The fierce banter going on between Emily and Rosie had me stopping in my tracks just before I was about to walk into my office.

I wondered what they were both doing in my office by this time of the day but was more bothered by the fact that Emily had been made to cross paths with Rosie again in my office, seeing as she had been a major issue between us for a while now.

My heart skipped a beat at the prospect of seeing Emily again after a few weeks but at the same time, I wondered why Rosie just had to be in my office at a time like this.

She was the last person I wanted to see right now, and I pondered about what might’ve brought her here today when we had no business to discuss.

I quickly straightened my tuxedo, and was about to walk up to them when Rosie uttered a statement that had me freezing all over;
