Chapter 17

"Are you going to be gone all day?" Maya asked Jason.

"No, I just have a meeting I need to attend, then I need to sort out a few things. I'll be back in about four hours." He answered.

Jason took the last sip of his coffee and left. He knew he had to try his best to avoid Celia till he figured out what would do. When Jason got to the office, Celia wasn't there. He let out a breath of relief and sat down.

Twenty minutes later, Liam walked into Jason's office.

"Liam, I'm so glad you're here." Jason began. "I messed up, mate. I need your help." He added.

Liam sat across from Jason and crossed his legs. Jason never asked Liam for help unless it was something awful. Liam hoped it had nothing to do with Maya because Jason had hurt her too much.

"It's about Maya."

"What did you do?" Liam questioned.

Jason scratched the bridge of his nose and shook his head. He hated asking for help, but he needed someone with a clear mind to guide him.

"I cheated on her."
