“What are you talking about?” He narrowed his eyes at me. “I've never flirted with any woman since the day I set my eyes on you.”

“And you want me to believe that?” I scoffed.

“That's the truth.” He made to touch my hair, but I slapped his hand off.

“Why were you with your ex? Have you gotten tired of me? Is it because I'm not as beautiful as her? At least, if you will cheat on me, do so discreetly!”
