I wish to sleep, but not alone

"And that's the last of the assignment.” I grinned, “Thank you.”

Writing my assignments alone isn't as fun as writing them with him. The way he gently ruffled my hair as I wrote, and how much he praised me for being smart, made it all the more worthwhile.

Though I wasn't all that clever, he made me feel like I'm the most intelligent student in the entire world.

“It's no worry.” He grinned, “now, what do you want to do next? Should we take a walk around the compound, swim in the pool, or watch one of your favourite dramas?”

“Hmm.” I placed a hand under my jaw. “None.”

“None? Why? Do you wish to sleep?” He raised a brow.

“Hmm, I do want to sleep, but not alone. If you get what I mean?” I beamed.

His hand which he lifted, to ruffle my hair, froze in the air. He looked as if he didn't know what to do.

“What?”

I carried my bag up from the floor we worked my assignments on, and took it to the only table in my room before I returned to where he was.

This time, I didn't sit on the floor
