MELVIN

If there was anything that bore Melvin more it certainly had to be more it certainly have to be the long meetings with the council at his conference room.

He sat listening to them rap about absolutely nothing, diving into different topics without finishing another and he just wouldn't wait for them to end it.

His heart still felt heavy from what had happened the previous day. What was he thinking about letting his guard down so that he hadn't suspected someone was in the room?

Sure enough, he had caught the scent of someone in the air, but he had dismissed it as being that of the maid who had most probably left the room in a hurry after breaking his figurine.

He sighed.

It was not his fault he acted so rude and crude to everything around him. He had a lot eating him up himself, a lot of things eating him deep and that was the same thing that was debated upon at the meeting.
