I sat in class, eagerly waiting for the next teacher to arrive. The classroom buzzed with its usual noise, but amidst the chatter, I traced hearts in my notebook with my ballpoint pen, a giggle escaping my lips.

I couldn't wait to be alone again with Vlad. Thoughts of what had transpired earlier in the day filled my head and warmth spread across my core.

Taylor and William weren't in this class, so I typically kept to myself, observing the various activities unfolding around me.

The teacher began teaching and I attempted to focus on the subject at hand. But my concentration got distorted when my phone screen lit up, silently notifying me of a message.
