I heard the pack members that were fighting, but I was surprised that Artemis heard the door slamming. It had come from two floors down so I thought it was faint. It only registered to me that she heard it when she jumped and the coffee went flying. When Doc was here to help treat her burns he explained that it was probably due to the trauma she had experienced. He gave me a burn ointment and told me she would be fine by tomorrow since the burns were superficial. I was still concerned for her because she seemed to be zoned out the whole time. Arya was explaining to Tafari and I that she was waiting for Alpha Nate to show up and beat her. To say I was shocked was an understatement.

The weeks seemed to pass by quickly and before I knew it we were sitting in Doc's office with Valerian and Jax. Valerian had a very obvious baby bump. As we made our way back to our coven I thought about how we had pulled that off. Nate had been right to distract the wolves with a rouge attack. I didn't care about those filthy mutts that died. I was startled when my stomach began to rapidly grow. That was the moment I realized it was all because of that woman smoking that pipe. I was trying to help Valerian and went into a panic when his water broke. I didn't know anything about actually giving birth and definitely didn't know anything about male birth.
