"Don't play games with me, Bridgette!"

Axe clucked in displeasure at my long silence. His hand moved quickly to grab my jaw roughly, "answer me!" he demanded with his eyes still glaring at me.

I shook my head in defense of the truth before my eyes. I don't know why my heart feels heavy to be honest with Axe. I was afraid that he'd unjustly keep me away from Oracle. There's a cruelty in him that will never go away, a dark side that's deeply embedded in his soul. Even Axe can be gentle and harsh at the same time. I must be wary of him.

"Want to test who's more stubborn, Bridgette?" Axe whispered as close to my ear as he could. His actions make my hair stand on end, I'm scared to see this kind of attitude from him. But I didn't want to be blunt with him.

"Fine!" says Axe, ending his curiosity. A second later he moved to the side of the bed, pulled out the nightstand drawer and retrieved something. A small length of rope was pulled out of it.
