I sighed heavily waiting for Axe not to speak since the end of our meeting with Mr. O'Connor in front of the lab.

My father-in-law, now that I could call him that, had a sudden emergency call, though I was sure he still wasn't willing to leave Axe after making the man look like a lifeless statue.

"Speak up Axe. I won't understand your needs, if you keep quiet like this."

I slowly ran my hand through his brown hair that was beginning to grow long and prickly. We were currently sitting in front of Edward's waiting room. Axe didn't move once he found a comfortable chair, even though I repeatedly invited him to enter Edward's hospital room. Perhaps Axe didn't want to add to the burden on Edward's mind, who had regained consciousness yesterday afternoon, although he was required to rest.

"Don't keep this up, Axe. Aren't you happy to know I'm not your sister?"
