Chapter 28

Clara wasn’t sure she heard him well. She was still thinking about what she told Alex and how he must have been feeling about Henry.

“Are you serious?” She asked. earlier she had lots of doubts but now, she was sure she wanted to get married to him. He cares about her, more than that family of hers.

Alex was going to reply to her when his phone rang. It was his driver, he thought he was already there but he called to inform Alex that he wouldn’t be getting on time since the roads were busy.

It wasn’t so bad since Alex was still discussing with Clara. Besides, he wouldn’t want to talk about that in the presence of a third party.

“Ahaan..” Alex replied. It was supposed to make Clara happy but looking at her, he couldn’t find any expression.

Clara folded her lips and nodded. “You didn’t tell me about it earlier.”

“Come on Clara, I only made the arrangement this evening.” While Clara was preparing, Alex reached out to a lawyer but he needed to hear her condition first.

Clara smiled.
