Chapter 63

Alex just arrived at the office. He was walking around each department looking and supervising what they were doing.

He had also been thinking of what Clara wanted to discuss with him but decided not to bother himself so much about that.

As he was supervising, he received a message from Clara saying he needed him home. All his efforts to contact her weren't possible as she wasn't to pick up and her number went off.

So he considered it urgent and ordered his driver to drive him to the house.

“Where is Clara?” He asked one of the maids.

“She stepped out for a while, Sir but Miss Annie and Selene are here.”

Alex itched his scalp not getting it. If Clara isn't in the house, why then did she ask him to come over?

He decided to go upstairs to Clara’s room and that was where he found Selene.

“I will leave right now, make sure you delay till the door opens,” Annie warned Selene immediately after she heard Alex’s footsteps and left.
