Chapter 64

After Clara opened the door, her gaze met with that of Selene; she lay under facing upwards while Alex lay on top of her facing downwards.

Alex was too angry to notice that someone entered. He was lost for a minute thinking of how to kill Selene.

Then after Selene saw that Clara was standing, she held the back of Alex’s head and pushed it closer to hers like she was going to kiss him.

Immediately Clara saw that, she ran, she didn't know where she was going to, she just kept running.

It was the speed of the person who left that Alex knew that someone was there. He then pushed Selene out with so much force that she almost broke her spinal cord.

“Who’s there?” Alex called but he didn't get any reply, he only heard footsteps of someone running and went after the person.

Then he saw her back, it was the back of Clara.

“Clara, Clara, Sweet,” he called out but her eyes were filled with tears. She was gasping for breath, sobbing but not crying out loud.

“Clara, wait,” Alex called out again.
