When Alex came home that night, he went straight into his bedroom. Despite Annie’s attempt to get his attention, it wasn’t possible.

He had been thinking everything through, the fact that Jane was coming to New York and what his relationship with Clara was like.

There was only a way to be sure of all these and that was to contact Henry Brown.

Although the possibility of Henry telling a lie against Clara because he likes her was there, he would make sure to investigate well before taking action like his parents wanted.

Even when a part of him trusts Clara, he also needs to know all those involved in setting her up, and only then will he deal with the people involved.
