CHAPTER 46

Crystina’s POV

“How was your first day, Luna?” Miss Mary asked me as soon as I returned home. I gave her a small smile.

“It was eventful,”

In all sincerity, I didn’t have difficulty teaching those kids. They are so smart and adorable and they made everything so easy for me. I wasn’t expecting such cooperation from them because of how they replaced me with their old teacher. I guess the previous teacher must have done a good job training them because they had no resentment whatsoever.

“That’s good. You should take a warm bath, I’ll bring you dinner,”

“Thank you,” I guess having to eat my meals in my room had sent out the right message to everyone and now, they’ve accepted it as the new norm.

I unlocked my door, expecting to walk into my shabby room but what I found wasn’t what I expected. The room that I left behind this morning was old, ugly, and unattractive but what I walked into was the beautiful room I’d ever laid my eyes on.
