CHAPTER 47

LUKA’S POV

The only reason why I survived through two nights was because of my mate. Crystina was right there by my side, holding my hand. I could barely lift a finger because of how weak I was. I was dying and she was there to help me through it all. Maxim also aided with the healing process and I was grateful I wasn’t wounded in my wolf form because that would’ve been disastrous.

I’d gone with some of the warriors to inspect the borders because of some fishy movements around the perimeters. If only the warriors had reported the strange movement to me earlier, the casualty wouldn’t be up to this. I was not the only wounded wolf, more than ten of my warriors are wounded and about two or three turned up dead.

Whoever planted that stupid dynamite in that place definitely has their plan of killing everyone off in my pack. And I swear that I’ll kill them once I lay my fingers on them. I turned to my side as slowly as possible and I saw Crystina sleeping like a baby.
