"Sara, what are you doing here?" I started searching for her in other areas of the hospital after failing to locate her near the restroom. Her presence near the mortuary room caught me off guard.

What's she doing with this doctor? I gave her a suspicious glance.

"I was simply inquiring about my mother's condition." Despite her best efforts to appear composed, her restless fingers reveal that she is quite anxious about something.

"Let's go; Mom will be waiting for us." She took hold of my hand and dragged me toward the hospital hallway.

"Are you attempting to hide something from me, Sara?" As I attempted to decipher her thoughts, I studied her face. I found her behavior very strange.

"No, why did you feel this?" She tried to deceive me again with her fake smile, but her eyes told me that she was hiding something from me.
