"Where are you, Sara?"

Because of the tremendous discomfort in my legs, I could not stand up straight.

Rain is still falling heavily outside the house. If I didn't have to see Aunt Jerry, I would never leave Sara alone in this awful weather, especially since I know she is terrified of the rain.

I understand how it feels to face our fears, but I had no choice at the time. I had to leave her alone so Aunt Jerry could not discover her. The severe weather may have caused an electric short circuit, cutting off the house's electricity supply.

I reached into my bedroom with the flashlight on my cell phone. Sara tried calling me multiple times, but I was too distracted to pick up the phone. I looked around the bedroom but couldn't find her. I observed the condition of the room and understood that it was not easy for her to spend the entire night in it.
