High Expectations

ALPHA AIDEN’S POV

The sound of my finger tips tapping my study table expressed how impatient I was beginning to get. It was an hour left into the night, and no response had been gotten from Alpha King Dylan. I knew how curious and interested he was, in mysterious, and beneficial things, but this was kind of surprising.

“Seeing as hours have passed since I dropped the letter, I don’t think he is willing to invite us.” Jamison uttered as he leaned on the wall next to the door.

I decided to ignore him as I didn’t want anything in form of discouragement. As long as the day hasn’t run out, there can be hope. The only thing that clouded my hope was that Alpha Dylan was someone who jumped quickly unto things he saw as opportunities, so if he had not gotten back to us, then I can’t be so sure of the possibility we would attend the event.

“So, what should we do? What is going to be Plan B if this doesn’t work out?” Jamison asked, looking concerned.
