I whistled as I stepped into the palace. I was so happy these days because I had successfully channelled my energy into ignoring Leonie. Alexa was a nice distraction. She’d keep me away from thinking incessantly about Leonie, and she was good in bed too. That was a plus.

‘But, she is not our mate,’ my wolf mumbled.

I rolled my eyes. “Suck it up, man. I’m never accepting her as our mate. Since I can’t find a way to reject her yet, I will just have to leave it like that,” I mumbled.

‘Ugh! You make it seem like the goddess didn’t know what she was doing when she gave you Leonie as a mate. I hope you know you’re so disrespectful to the goddess wishes,’ he snapped back.

I bit my lips from saying a word more. Other than Leonie, my wolf was becoming incessantly annoying. It was becoming too much now, and so annoying.

I was about to go up the stairs, when I glimpsed a movement on my left. I turned to see the head maid coming right at me. Tina looked flustered as she ran to me.
