“Shut the fuck up, maid!” Alpha Gunnolf snapped.

I blinked in fear as my hands tremble, causing the fork to drop on my plate. I looked back at my plate, wondering if he was going to hit me. He had never done so before, but there is always a first time for everything, right?

“Gunnolf! Apologise to Leonie right now. How could you call your mate, a maid? I believe I thought you better, so what is all these? How can you be so rude to her?” Lina Royale snapped angrily.

Alpha Gunnolf rose from his seat, his chair slamming against the floor with a bang, shocking both I and his mother. He was literally mumbling some words as he left the table.With him gone, my hands suddenly became more stable. Ok, I had been scared of what he was going to do to me.
