30: Not so easy, wildcat

Cora’s POV

3am.

My eyes flung wide open and I knew that it was participation for the day ahead that had caused my body to jolt awake at such an odd hour of the morning. I looked to my side and Nina was draped under the sheets and snoring lightly with the pencil from the night before lightly clutched between her fingers.

I stretched enthusiastically and pushed myself out of bed because I had an extremely important day ahead; one where I’d finally rid the world of an abominable tyrant’s reign of terror. I made my way to the bathroom and rushed through my bath and did same with my dressing up as well, mostly because I needed to get more familiar with the map before I set out for the library’s archives.

After I was fully dressed, I grabbed the map and muttered intelligible words as I studied the routes I needed to memorize. I paced up and down and carefully went over all the details of the operation that I and Nina had finalized on after staying up past midnight until I was satisfied with
