CHAPTER FORTY EIGHT

ANDREW

Andrew was about to walk in when he heard the two friends arguing. Their voices were loud, not caring who was listening to their conversation.

“I think I love him.” Those words made Andrew stop in his tracks. The silence that came from the room was deafening, he wondered what was going on in their minds.

Before he could give it any more thought, laughter erupted from the room, filling the corridors and he knew clearly that it wasn't from his wife.

Was the idea of Manny loving him that funny?

“He wanted to take your child away Manny, he doesn't care about you!” He heard Josie say and the words stinged him.

Was he really that bad?

Andrew refused to move. His feet were glued to the floor and his ears to their conversation. He understood why Josie was against Manny's feelings for him, he wouldn't date himself either.

Having had enough of their bad-mouthing and backlash, he entered the room. He cleared his throat, making his presence known.
