CHAPTER TWENTY THREE

ANDREW

Andrew hated what his life had become, full of constant worrying. Worrying about Manny, worrying about a baby, she wasn't his wife or someone he liked but he couldn't seem to stop thinking about her.

The thoughts of Manny filled his mind. They stayed together, but yet never saw eye to eye, how could two people live together, but yet live separate lives? He wanted to change that but didn't know how to.

“She should just give birth already.” he grunted.

He was getting sick of that small town.

He ran his hand through his hair, something he did anytime he was stressed and as of late, it was becoming a habit.

The telephone on his table rang, distracting him from his thoughts.

“Sir?” A voice came from the other end. “A lady named Cece is here to see you.”

Cece? The name sounded vaguely familiar. Normally, he would have neglected a call like that, but he needed something to distract himself with even if it was a conversation with a strange lady.
