Accepting the call, at last, Brooklyn held the phone to her ear, her heart beating wildly with apprehension. “Hello, who’s this?” she croaked with fear.
“Hey, it’s me, Ryder. I just called to say that we’ve reached LA,” said Ryder excitedly.
“Ryder? Oh, how did you get my number? Where’s Brandon?” Asked Brooklyn, feeling relieved.
