Brooklyn stood in front of the mirror inside her washroom to strip and take a shower. After Brandon left, a sense of loneliness gripped her heart and she just had her dinner, cleaned up, and walked into her bedroom to sleep. The sense of uncertainty was killing her. She had no idea how she would get a job in this new city full of strangers. However, she knew she had to since she couldn’t be dependent upon Nikolas forever.
