Chapter 25

The entire place looked empty. Not only that it was decorated with thousands of flowers.

Shrugging, she turned to Cannon, "Which table?"

Cannon lead the way and stopping at a table, he pulled out a chair for her. Elaine thought of settling on the other chair but at last listened to him. Cannon sat across her chair. He was about to say something when Elaine interrupted. "Why isn’t anyone else here?"

"I booked the entire restaurant." Cannon spoke up with a smiling face.

Elaine spoke up getting irritated, "Who is your client that you went this far to book the entire restaurant when just a table would have been enough?"

"I never said about meeting any client."

"But you said you have a lunch engagement and.."

"Yeah and by that I meant you." words were barely out of Cannon's mouth before Elaine shot back, "Then I am done here."

She was about to get up but stopped hearing Cannon.

"I love you, Elaine. Give me a chance to show you my heart." Cannon pleaded interrupting her thought of leaving.
