Reina's POV

Richard. I had almost whispered out of my mouth when my eyes met with his. His eyes spoke volumes, which I knew that he wanted to utter.

“ Reina,” he called again. This time a little louder than he had earlier. I love the way my name has rolled off his mouth. Just like perfection would have.

I gave myself a pinch in my palm, sharp enough to jolt me out of any reverie I was having and back to reality. “ Have we met before? Aside from the crazy show you put on the day I was about to leave the hospital?” I asked. It has taken a lot for me to say that.

The look in his eyes that spoke of how betrayed he felt pricked my soul. “ No, not at all” he gave way for me to walk through, but instead I stood still. Listening to his footsteps until they had faded away.
