27. Elysia's Plea

Elysia Pov

"What?"

It wasn't Damon's. The report says my child wasn't Damon's.

"This isn't true." I shrieked at Damon. The moment I met his eyes, I could see the hate that clouded them.

His lips curved to a corner and he said, "Why did you lie about your child's paternity?" His brows raised as he grabbed my cheeks with his hands, dragging me backwards until my back hit against the wall.

"What were you trying to do Elysia?" His brows raised in anger.

"That isn't true Damon, I have no reason to lie to you. Why will I do that? The child was yours and no one else's."

Elysia lay on the kitchen floor, her fingers throbbing from where Damon had stepped on them. She glared up at him as he walked out of the room, her hatred for him growing with each passing moment.

"I'll make sure you pay for choosing to deceive me," Damon had snarled before leaving.
