There was a sudden thundering of feet above us. I could make out voices, shouting voices, there seemed to be some sort of chaos going on upstairs.

I looked at Bastien and he nodded, this was what he was hoping to achieve, and by the looks of it, it had played out exactly as he had hoped it would.
