The atmosphere was tense in the warehouse in the lower district where we were surrounded by an army of wolves that seemed keen to take our head off.

Philip called it a necessary precaution, I thought it was an ambush but it looked like I was wrong and he was right. The rogue king seemed to have indeed agreed to meet up in good faith and he was holding Mia somewhere we did not know about.

There was the option of trying to get into his mind and find out where Mia was but I knew that it would not be easy to do that and he would probably notice the moment I tried and that could blow our chance.
