The feeling was a familiar one, a strange weakness that seemed to reach right down into my bones. It flowed throughout my body and kept me feeling impotent and unable to do anything. I was trying to figure out where I had felt like this before but I could not recall.

I gasped in shock when I saw the man who had knocked me out talking to somebody in a hushed voices.

I tried to use my super hearing but I could not still make out what they were saying. At first, I thought that they were burning incense that was what was interfering with my super hearing and stopping me from eavesdropping on their conversation but I was wrong.

I tried to extend my claws, if I was going to get out of this place then I knew that I needed to fight. I needed to tap into my power and break free on my own. Nothing happened.

I tried extending it again, but once more, nothing happened.
