We drove back to my apartment in thick silence, after getting stuck at the crossroads for over thirty minutes, we realized the hopelessness of the situation and returned home. Nobody was speaking, the same thing that was going through my mind was going through everyone’s mind.

Leo looked like he was trying to come to terms with the fact that he might lose his son this time around, for good. The last time this happened, Leo was very lucky that Mia was around, that’s how Javier was saved, now, that option was not looking like it was going to be possible.
