“Holy shit!”

I gasped as I stared at the foot of my bed to see Cassie’s lifeless body. Her eyes were rolled back and her chest had been ripped open. A note was pinned to her now lifeless heart that was on her body.

“You took something precious from me, I won't stop killing until I get it back.”

I read out the note shaking with fear as Ivan stirred beside me and held my waist still feeling sleepy.

“Another nightmare?” he asked, with a sleepy voice.

“Yes and it became a reality,” I answered.

Ivan rubbed his eyes before sitting up, “What do you mean?”

I pointed at the dead body lying at the foot of my bed and Ivan gasped.

“How did she get here? How could this have happened?” Ivan asked, standing up immediately and looking around.

“What’s with all the fuss this morning?” Javier’s tired voice floated through the house as he walked toward us.

“Watch out!” I exclaimed.

He stopped and looked down when he saw the dead body and a startled gasp left his lips.
