“It's not happening!” I snapped at Leo.

Leo sighed, running a hand through his hair, “Please, Mia, I could die if you don't do this.”

I scoffed, “Why would you tell me that? Does it look like I care? If you die the world will be a better place.”

“If I die the master will send a more villainous person than me and then you'd wish you had kept me,” Leo said.

Javier stared at us, a confused look on his face, “The master? What master are you talking about, Leo? And what is this ‘it’s time’ you're saying?”

Leo sighed as he stared at me and shook his head, “He's going to try and stop you.”

“Damn right, I am,” Javier stated.

“Mia think this thorough. Wouldn't it be better if I'm the anchor? At least you know I'd never do anything to hurt you or Javier,” Leo said.
