LUIS's POV

My body felt like it weighed a ton as I struggled to raise my throbbing head. Each part of my body felt like it had been hit with a giant boulder countless of times. Technically, I had been hit several times by Claire’s father.

It was still taking me time to grasp the defeat I had just faced in the hands of Alpha Enzo and his beta. My biggest mistake and regret was underestimating Enzo’s strength. I was confident in my fighting skills and I had never lost a fight, regardless of who my opponent was.

But I clearly had forgotten, that Enzo was an alpha. His body was built differently. He was stronger, faster and far more skilled than a beta like me. Now I was left with regrets that poked at me.
