Chapter 22

Gina practically danced all the way home, even while things were once again quiet between her and Henry. She didn't want anything to dampen the mood of shopping and besides, she could hardly wait to tell her husband what she got him. More than once, she saw him looking at her with a frown on his face and Gina didn't need anybody to tell her that he was wondering why she seemed so happy. Instead of saying anything, she just gave him a smile and watched the streets as the day gradually turned into mid afternoon. They had been at the mall since morning, and apart from being happy, she was also tired.

She had been trying on dressed all day, and her feet hurt because she also tried on a lot of shoes as well. That was not really the hard part for her, as she already had a clear idea of what she wanted and in which colour.
