Chapter 24

Everyday, Gina tried hard to not see any new reason to dislike Henry, but she always outside her. Now that they were back at home, she wanted nothing more than to unwind and stay as far from him as possible. But apparently, he was also going to make that one hard. Even worse was how he thrust his life into her plans and stopped her from doing what she wanted. Before she even started arguing, she already knew he would bring up the issue of her being bound to him by a contract. Still, it didn't stop her from glaring at him with as much iciness as she could muster.

"Why can't I go? What's your reason this time?" She questioned, walking further into the house followed by him and the guards who quickly moved to carry their things upstairs. It must not have been more than two seconds they used to carry everything and judging by the way Henry's eyes followed them, she was certain he was waiting for them to leave so he could say whatever was on his mind.
