Jealousy.

I never put much thought into that emotion as I didn't know it was a trait I possessed. At least, not until I met Delilah.

There was not a single doubt in my mind that Delilah belonged to me. However, every time I saw another man near her, jealousy burned through my veins.

And today is no exception.

I promised one of my friends I'd visit him whenever I'm in Switzerland. I had been friends with Matteo since I was a boy, and it was time that we got together again.

Matteo Fontana came from the long bloodline of dukes and duchesses. He had a proud demeanor and piercing blue eyes that shone with intelligence. By the time he turned 22, he had already built a successful empire of dating apps. His newest app was currently the number one app in the country.

"It's a pleasure meeting you, Delilah. You're a beautiful woman. Sebastian is a lucky man," Matteo said, taking her hand.

Delilah smiled politely. "It's nice to meet you too."

At first, there was nothing to worry about.
