Chapter 33:

"How can you tell me, you didn't find anybody there? I left him there unconscious. He couldn't have quickly recovered and get away!" Darius roared at the police officers.

To make sure that Jake severed all ties with Layla, Darius called the police as soon as they arrived at the hospital and reported the incident.

"He isn't anywhere to be found around the apartment, sir. We searched around but he wasn't there. Don't worry sir our men are on the hunt for him. We will find him wherever he is," the captain promised.

"Go search that apartment again; I'm certain you didn't search thoroughly enough. He is someplace nearby; find for him!” Darius insisted. "He couldn't have gone far away so quickly,” he added.

"We got our best men on this. Before the day runs out, we will find him, I promise," the captain asserted.

"I need results; I don't need your promises. I will give you anything just to make sure you find him, it is very important,” he said.
