"Thank you for agreeing with me that Karma is a bitch," I responded, pretending nothing went wrong.

"Oh, I don't think that deserves a compliment," he responded.

"It deserves it because you hardly admit facts," I replied, and he laughed again.

"Well, if you say so," he stated. "So could we now go back and go on with the diner because I'm starving already and you're also starving, aren't you?" he asked.

"No thanks. I'm no longer starving," I replied.

"You said it earlier when Mom was wasting time on the introduction, or are you going to go to bed with an empty stomach simply because Sophia infuriated you?" he questioned.

"Alpha Conan, are you going to lead me to the guest room so I can pass the night here as the road is not safe to go back to my apartment this night, or you're going to keep asking me questions?" I responded.

"Oh, sure. I'll do what you want," he responded, smiling.

He instructed one of the omegas in the palace to take me to the guest room.
