I quickly woke up from sleep, panting like someone who had been running from his predator. I held my chest, trying to calm down my temper, as my heart sank into my stomach and my pulse was racing faster than even a sports car.

I just had the weirdest and scariest dream of my life.

I dreamt of Liam being chased by vampires, and he was crying and running to me, but when I stretched my hand to grab him, a vampire ran across him and tried to bite off his head. It was then that I woke up.

I sighed heavily upon realizing it was just a dream. I sighed in relief, and my pulse decreased to its normal ratio.

"Thankfully, this is just a dream," I mumbled, stretching out my hand to make sure my kids were all okay.

"Liam, are you okay?" I questioned as I could not feel him on the bed.
