Walking out of the hospital was like someone walking out of an audition he contested and lost to me.

I can't believe the level of humiliation I faced from Yvonne—the way she first snatched her kids away from me upon my arrival and scolded me without even caring to know what really prompted me to visit the hospital with her kids.

I sighed, gulped, and heaved my head in pain. "All this was only because I have no kids of my own. Had it been I had, Yvonne would not be doing this; she would be privileged to see me playing or talking with her kids, even," I mumbled to myself, walking toward the car.

The most annoying part was that even after Liam ran to me as Yvonne led them out of the office, heading to where I don't know, she went ahead to snatch him out of me in the presence of the crowd.
