I beamed in excitement. Truth be told, I wasn't surprised because, as a werewolf, I was more in tune with nature than humans, and the things they would naturally wave off or ignore meant a lot to me. I guess they could see my passion and decided to give me a chance.

I received congratulations from other lecturers for securing the grant, but Santos, the cunt waffle, bared his teeth and undid his tie, as if it was choking his lungs, which wouldn't even be a bad idea.

"This is unfair. This man is just a new lecturer. Why is the board biased towards him?."

I chuckled at how rough his voice sounded and held my shoulders back and a sigh of satisfaction for putting him in his place.

"My proposal is based on solid research and data. I put in the effort to make it the best it can be, unlike some people who presented half-baked research from the Internet."
