Ariana's POVIt was the day after the public whipping and I was emotionally drained after witnessing what the head guard, Reece did to Colin and how he was after everything. Colin's back had looked like a slab of raw meat that had been stabbed over and over again. Ariana's POVAs I walked toward the source of the sound, dreading what I would find there, I was certain that someone was screaming. After all, it was only a human being who could produce sounds like that; an animal could not. As I continued my trek along the hallway, I hoped that the screaming person was not in some kind of danger. But if the person was not in danger, what then was the cause of such pained screams I was hearing? It had to be something dangerous. Ariana's POVAs I stared at Colin who was still glaring at me, it took me a moment to compose the thoughts in my muddled up brain and put two and two together. Claire was here and she was putting on a pure white dress like that of a nurse, right? What was it with these people anyway? Why was every damn thing considered as an offence with these people? Why should coming to the imfirmiry be tagged as an offence?
